what about wednesday..Gun Control

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Thank you all for the sweet comments and texts. It really means a lot to me. I just have some stuff going on right now and I REALLY need to keep my faith in God and understand that he will take care of me and has a plan for me.

Matthew 6:25 -34

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

First off let me say congrats to ERIN... who won the give-a-way!!

Next up WHAT ABOUT WEDNSDAY??

How do you feel about guns?

"Who's this? Hope this ain't the law, draw out the bushes with my sawed-off shotgun."
Every time I hear someone say sawed off shot gun it makes me think of that Bone-Thugs song.. I was obsessed with in high school..

Last night I went to Young wives.. I didn't want to. I wanted to lay on the couch and spend quality time with the cute lil slice of heaven i call my hubs.. But I wanted to see Kelsey so I went. We went to Dinks for dinner, not bad, but my opinion is go to Whole Hog, same price with better food.

It was good to have some girl time, but we didn't really have a lesson which was a little disappointing since I could use one this week.

Kelsey dropped me off and I noticed Callaway was playing in the back yard. I decided to go through the gate and play with him for a min. Well after I got hot I went to the backdoor and walked in.

there next to the couch is my "little slice of heaven or LSOH" with his gun ready to aim and fire (no bullets so don't completely freak)

LSOH "What the HECK???"

LSOH " I could have SHOT YOU"

me "what the crap were you doing you weirdo?"

LSOH "I was looking at my gun & then I started watching thus scary movie.. and then you come in through the back door!!!"

Me-- laughing so hard I have to cross my legs as to not pee on myself. "You are such a freak"

LSOH "I could have SHOT You, if it was loaded"

Me--snap picture to blog about

LSOH "No way are you putting that picture on your blog"

So the question is for What about Wednesday.. What do yall think about guns? Are you ok with them in your house? All guns or only hand guns?

Would you got out and just shoot guns? I went out once with Hannah Montana and her hubs Tyler. Kelly shot, me not so much. Why is this such a guy thing, do you think it is just the "power" that comes with a gun?

My grandma has a real little gun with a pearl handle, I would consider carrying it, but it is so small it probably wouldn't do much to anyone.

WaaaHoo!

That's what the little boy I nanny for says when he's happy about something. I love that dress and I think I may have that fabric to make a bow!

Secondly, I am just praying for you...I hate that there is anything bad in anyone's life, but especially someone who I like so much! Hope you're doing better.

Thirdly, I am scared of guns, but totally agree with people having them in their homes. We don't because we're just not into it. Todd has never been hunting (he sets spiders free instead of killing them!)
